Who are we?
Kindred Clubhouse Inc. is a not for profit focussed on Mental Health support. We are working towards opening a Clubhouse in the Frankston Mornington Peninsula area
A Clubhouse is run by its members with the support of trained mental health professionals; it offers its members social and recreational activities, support and advocacy for their everyday needs (housing, physical health, benefits), supported employment and outreach (keeping in regular contact with its members)
Kindred Clubhouse will provide a safe, welcoming place for those with mental illness to develop the skills and confidence needed to lead satisfying and purposeful lives in the community
Our Goal for 2016
We are currently planning to open once a month with a temporary space. This will be a light version of the Clubhouse which will provide members with the opportunity to become part of a community and play an active role in the Strategy, Planning and establishment of Kindred Clubhouse.
If you know of a suitable location close to public transport in the Frankston area which is either free to use or available for a nominal fee please contact us on email@example.com
